Breakfast Cereal Beer

1996

A breakfast cereal beer may be based on any classic beer style, but you must add an entire box — and those wimpy single-serving boxes do not count — of your favorite breakfast cereal to the beer.

It doesn’t matter if you put the cereal in the mash, toss it in at the beginning of the boil or the end of the boil, or dump the cereal in the fermenter. Whatever you want to do, but the cereal must be a recognizable part of the flavor component and must complement the beer.

As usual, you must include the base style of the beer as well as your breakfast cereal of choice and quantity used in the brew.
